‘Material Home’ is an immersive and sensorial journey leading visitors through rooms that investigate matter in all its forms; a tactile, perceptual and olfactory experience of matter in space.

A journey leading to a series of possible interpretations of materials in interiors.

“Cimento® Tondo and Canton take center stage in two rooms of the exhibition; designer and art director Elisa Ossino explains: “Whether rough or soft, heavy or light, organic or sensual, the materials used in architecture have a significant impact on the use of space and on interior design. For many years I’ve carried out research aiming to deepen the essence of materials, but also to coerce their potential, to reach unexpected results. Even in an extremely computerised, virtual world, we still have an innate need to touch and physically ‘feel’ objects”.
